This collection is considered quite disappointing for the film which released with a total cost of Rs 190 crore. The film has been released on a total of 4007 screens in India. Apart from this, the film ‘Vikram Vedha’ has been released abroad on 1633 screens in 104 countries.

Even behind Aamir and Akshay

The film ‘Vikram Vedha’ has been at number five in terms of first day collections at the box office in Hindi films released this year. The film ‘Brahmastra Part One’ has got the title of Hindi film taking the biggest opening of the year. It earned Rs 36 crore on the first day. This was followed by the second Hindi film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ which earned Rs 14.11 crore on the first day of release. Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bachchan Pandey’ was at the third place in terms of earning on the first day, earning Rs 13.25 crore. And, it was followed by Aamir Khan’s film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, earning Rs 11.70 crore on the first day at number four.
