Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is in discussion these days due to his back to back films. The teaser of his film ‘Drishyam 2’ came out some time back and now the new release date of his film ‘Maidaan’ has also come out. ‘Maidan’ is based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, the manager and coach of the Indian national football team for 13 years, in which Ajay Devgn will be seen playing the character of ‘Abdul Rahi’. The film was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on 23 June 2022 but now this film will be released next year only.

Ajay Devgan has announced the new release date of his film ‘Maidaan’ in a tweet. The actor wrote in his tweet, ‘Experience the true story of an unknown hero, Syed Abdul Rahim, who made India proud. Maidan is releasing on 17th February 2023. Fans are very happy with this tweet of Ajay Devgan. Everyone is waiting to see the actor on screen once again.
‘Maidaan’ is directed by Amit Rabindranath Sharma, who has directed a superb film like ‘Badhaai Ho’. Some time ago there was a discussion that this film will be released on OTT platform. But now this is not happening. Next year the film will release in theaters with its full buzz. The film is produced by Zee Studios in association with producers Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunav Joy Sengupta.

Talking about the work front, Ajay will soon be seen in the film ‘Thank God’. Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh will also be seen with her in this film. It is directed by Indra Kumar.
