Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra: Part One Shiva’ was released in theaters on September 9 and as soon as it came, the film was a rage at the box office. The film earned a bang on the first weekend with a bumper opening. In just three days, the film had entered the 100 crore club and with the end of the second week, this film of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor joined the 200 crore club. But now the pace of the film’s collection has slowed down. The earnings of the third Sunday of Brahmastra have come out, which is not bad.

From the second week onwards, the earnings of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’ were continuously decreasing. But, on 23 September (Friday) i.e. National Cinema Day, the film did a great job. On Friday (15th day), the film had a collection of 10.79 crores. After this, on Saturday, the 16th day, the film had collected Rs 6.03 crore. At the same time, there has been no significant jump in the earnings of this film on the 17th day. According to preliminary figures, the film has collected 6.30 crores on the third Sunday.

With a collection of 17 days, the total earning of ‘Brahmastra’ has reached Rs 253.76, which is more than half of the budget of this film. Ayan Mukerji has produced this film with a cost of Rs 410 crore. This budget also includes the cost of promotion of the film. But ‘Brahmastra’ has crossed half of the cost in just 17 days, which is a matter of happiness for the makers.

Challenging way ahead

However, the days ahead can be challenging for ‘Brahmastra’ and the reason for this is the steadily falling earnings of the film. The earning of this film is definitely continuing but is also falling. The film did well in the first week itself and except for the second weekend, the earnings of ‘Brahmastra’ are going slowly. The film is yet to recover half of its cost, which seems to be a bit difficult for the film.
