The film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’, produced by Star Studios, the Indian arm of international company Disney, has seen a great jump in the collection in the second week of its release. The second weekend is also looking great for the film, which earned Rs 172.22 crore in the first week. The film earned Rs 10.6 crore on the first day of the second week i.e. second Friday and now according to the opening figures of Saturday, the film has earned a whopping Rs 15.50 crore at the domestic box office. With this, the net collection of the film has gone up to Rs 199.32 crore. The film’s gross collection has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Second most successful Hindi film of the year

The film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’ seems to be increasing continuously and it is expected that in the second week itself, this film will break the record of ‘Kashmir Files’ which was the highest-grossing Hindi film so far this year. The film ‘Kashmir Files’ has earned the highest collection of Rs 252.90 crore among Hindi films released this year. After this, till now Karthik Aryan’s film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ was at number two with the earning of Rs 185.92 crore. The collection of the film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’ surpassed this on Saturday.

second weekend also great

The film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’ has made a total collection of 173.22 crores at the domestic box office in the first week of release. This includes the Hindi version earning Rs 156.40 crore, Telugu version earning Rs 13.10 crore, Tamil version earning Rs 3.68 crore and Kannada and Malayalam versions earning around Rs 5 lakh. Advance booking for the second weekend of the film started gaining momentum from Thursday itself and its effect is also visible in the second weekend.

All eyes on Sunday’s collection

The film did a business of Rs 10.60 crore as per the final figures of the second Friday of its release. This includes the Hindi version earning Rs 10.25 crore and the Telugu version earning around Rs 24 lakh. According to the initial figures till Saturday evening, the film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’ has registered a jump of about 50 percent in its collections compared to Friday and has made a net collection of Rs 15.50 crore on the ninth day of its release. The second Sunday collection of the film is expected to be better than this.
