Faisal Khan taunted brother Aamir Khan and told him to be an opportunist, wrong to return after four years from Lal Singh Chaddha

Aamir Khan returned to the big screen after four years with ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. But a controversial statement given a few years ago weighed heavily on him and a boycott was demanded regarding the film. Ahead of the release of the film, Aamir Khan apologized to everyone for his statement, but it also did not help and ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ failed at the box office. At the same time, now the statement of Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan on his film and apologizing has come to the fore, in which he justified apologizing but called it opportunistic to do so.

Faisal Khan has said that his brother could not live up to his expectations from ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ and it seemed opportunistic to apologize for his statement just before the release of the film. Actually, Aamir had requested the audience not to boycott his earlier comments after the boycott of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. He had said, ‘I feel sad that some people are saying this, in their heart they believe that I do not like India. They believe in their hearts, but it is untrue.’

During a recent interview when Faisal Khan was asked if this was the right time for Aamir to apologize for his remarks? To this he replied, ‘Yes, it was right to apologize. Nobody knows everything in life. There is nothing wrong with apologizing and correcting yourself. After that you become a better person. But this apology should have been made at that time. To do so just before the release of the film seems opportunistic. But if someone doesn’t realize that they have hurt someone then I don’t know about that. Because you don’t know when someone realizes.’

Responding to ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Faisal Khan said, “I felt Aamir should have chosen a better script, especially because he was returning after 4 years. I liked the film in some parts, but not completely. There were other good actors with Aamir, you expect him to do a great job. Things that blow your mind. But this did not happen with Lal Singh Chaddha. This film was not wow. Let us tell you that ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ was a remake of Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’, in which Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya also played important roles.
