The whole country is shocked by the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
He committed suicide at his residence in Bandra on Sunday. After this, the post-mortem of Sushant Singh Rajput was done late on Sunday night.
According to the initial report, Sushant Singh Rajput died due to hanging. According to the sources, the post-mortem was done at Cooper Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s organs have been sent to J.J. Hospital in order to ascertain whether there is poison in the body. However, the initial investigation report has not revealed any traces of poisoning. Further forensic investigations will be carried out.
The family claims that Sushant did not commit suicide. The late Bollywood actor’s father has demanded a CBI inquiry.
The Cooper Hospital in Mumbai has given an advanced certificate of post-mortem of Sushant Singh Rajput, according to which the cause of death is said to be suffocation due to hanging.
Sushant Singh Rajput is to be cremated in Mumbai today. His father, a BJP MLA from Patna and Sushant’s brother Neeraj Singh along with his wife Nutan arrived in Mumbai from Patna this morning. Sushant Singh Rajput hailed from Patna, Bihar.
“We wanted to bring the dead body to Bihar but the permission was not given due to the coronavirus pandemic. The funeral will be held in Mumbai. Sushant’s sister lives in America, she will not be able to come. The rest of the family have reached here,” Sushant’s cousin MLA Neeraj Singh Bablu said.
According to sources, Sushant was being treated for depression. He had two cooks and two friends living with him at his house. One of his friends said that Sushant was taking medicines due to depression. He was also writing a journal during the lockdown.
Sushant came out of his room at 10 am on Sunday. Then went back inside with a glass of juice. His friend said that he looked fine in the morning.
When Sushant did not leave his room for a long time, they knocked at the door. When Sushant’s door did not open, his friends tried to break it. Sushant’s manager called for the key, after which the door was opened. Inside, Sushant’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
