In his tweet, the actor’s wife has tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tagging PM Modi, Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar wrote in the caption, ‘Today is an emotional day for us. We are releasing the trailer of ‘Gandhada Gudi’. This project was very close to Appu’s heart. Appu always cherished the meetings I had with you. He would have loved to share it with you personally.’

PM Modi retweeted this tweet of the actor’s wife and congratulated him for the project, remembering the actor.
