It was during the Corona transition period that Pooja Bhatt made a comeback as an actress after 12 years with ‘Sadak 2’. After this film, she appeared in the Netflix series ‘Bombay Begum’. Pooja Bhatt says, ‘Often people used to ask me when the acting started again. I used to say that if I am not acting then what if I am doing production. But when people were repeatedly advising acting. So, I felt that there must be something in me that is why people still want to see me in acting and I am back from 12 years of exile. Right now I am enjoying acting very much.

Pooja Bhatt never considered herself a typical heroine. She says, ‘I was never a typical heroine. Like a normal heroine, I did not know how to dance. Used to talk openly, whatever my life was like, I talked openly about it. Because of this, I got a lot of criticism and also got a lot of love. There have been many ups and downs in Pooja Bhatt’s life. She says, ‘It is also very important to come in bad times in life because it teaches the true meaning of living life. Good and bad are recognized and you yourself become self-reliant. Until there is a stumbling block in life, we do not know how to walk on the right path.’

The film ‘Daddy’ is a film close to the heart of Pooja Bhatt. In this, Pooja played the character of a girl who breaks her father’s addiction to alcohol. Pooja Bhatt says, ‘Watch life’s game. I got addicted to alcohol when I was 34 years old and quit at the age of 46. I believe that only families are torn apart by alcohol. People want to run away from their misery and start drinking alcohol but it only hurts. It took me 12 years to understand this. Referring to the story of the film ‘Daddy’, Pooja Bhatt says, ‘If a woman leaves her child like this, then the people of the society will call her by the name of a witch. Because, our society has decided that the mother will die but will not leave the children. But will society give a chance to such a woman if she gets addicted to alcohol and leaves her child.
