She was cast opposite Hrithik Roshan in this Ashutosh Gowariker film. But interestingly, Pooja Hegde neither liked Hrithik Roshan for the film nor did the film’s director Ashutosh Gowariker. Actually, Pooja Hegde was liked by Ashutosh’s wife. She had seen Pooja Hegde opposite Ranbir Kapoor in an ad, after which she asked her husband to cast Pooja in the next film. But both her pairing with Hrithik and the story of the film were not liked by the audience. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ was not able to do wonders at the box office, due to which Pooja Hegde’s debut in Bollywood was faded.
