Famous comedian Raju Srivastava has passed away. He breathed his last at the age of 58. After the heart attack, he was undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. For the last 41 days, doctors were trying to save him. As soon as the news of his death came, the entire film industry was in mourning. Celebs have also started reacting to his death. TV’s ‘Ram’ Arun Govil has expressed deep sorrow on social media.

Paying tribute to Raju, Arun wrote on Twitter, ‘Our friend and comedy king Raju Srivastava, who has been fighting for life in the hospital for a month, has finally lost the battle of life, may his soul rest in peace, and to his family. Give me the ability to bear this pain. Peace.’

Let us inform that on the morning of 10 August, he was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi after a heart attack. After which he was done angioplasty at AIIMS. Doctors found 100% blockage in one part of Raju’s heart. During treatment, doctors also found swelling in his head. The comedian’s family consists of his wife Shikha, daughter Antara, son Ayushmann, elder brother CP Srivastava, younger brother Deepu Srivastava, nephews Mayank and Mridul. After being unconscious for 15 days, it was being told that his body had reacted slightly. According to media reports, he had folded his leg then.

It is worth mentioning that apart from acting, Raju had also tried his luck in politics. In the year 2014, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He had reached Delhi to meet some big leaders of the party. On August 10, he suffered a heart attack while working out and fell unconscious from the treadmill. After which he was immediately admitted to AIIMS.
