In the memory of comedian Raju Srivastava, a prayer meeting was organized at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai on Sunday. At the beginning of the video, Raju’s wife Shikha Srivastava is requested to say a few words about the comedian. An emotional Shikha took the mic and said, “What should I say… I don’t have anything to say now. My life is gone.” After saying Inta, Shikha broke down and started crying. Taking care of herself, Shikha further said, “Everyone prayed a lot, the doctors also tried their best… We all tried a lot… But… they made us all laugh a lot. Even after going upstairs, everyone laughed. Must have been. Be happy, be at peace. Thank you very much.”

Apart from his wife, the video of Johnny Lever is also going viral. Johnny Lever said during a media interaction, “Raju’s days of struggle started with me. We have family ties, and we are neighbors too. So you can imagine how sad I am. Lost a great actor, he made people laugh for many years. But, suddenly he died. It’s a huge loss for stand-up comedy.”

It is worth noting that Raju Srivastava had a heart attack on August 10 while working out, after which he was hospitalized. The comedian’s fans had hoped that he would return home after recovering, but he passed away on September 21. Raju Srivastava was cremated on 22 September at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi. Thousands of people had reached to bid a final farewell to the comedian. Let us tell you that Raju Srivastava worked in many films and comedy shows in his career. He worked in many films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’. He participated in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in the year 2005.
