According to the information, SV Ramanan, a film producer and famous for lent his voice to radio and TV commercials, passed away on 26 September morning. He was 87 years old. SV Ramanan was the son of famous Tamil film producer Subramaniam. He started his career with the help of his father and later worked in several radio and television commercials. His fans and celebs are paying heartfelt tributes to him on social media. According to the information, SV Ramanan will be given a final farewell today.

SV Ramanan started his career as a playwright. Apart from this, SV Ramanan used to give life to advertisements with his golden voice. In the 80s and 90s, he helped build many brands with his voice in many commercials ranging from radio commercials to television. In 1983, he directed as well as composed songs for YG Mahendra and Suhasini starrer feature film ‘Uruvangal Maralam’. Many well-known actors like Sivaji Ganesan, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Jaishankar made guest appearances in this film. Apart from this, he also directed many other documentaries and serials.

Talking about personal life, SV Ramanan is survived by his wife Bama Ramanan and daughters Lakshmi and Saraswati. Renowned musician Anirudh Ravichander is his grandson.
