This time, Yohani is going to debut in Bollywood movie songs. He sang the song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ in Hindi. Ajay Devgn and Siddharth Malhotra’s new movie ‘Thank God’ features the Sri Lankan singer’s world-conquering song. The trailer of the movie was released on September 9.
Yohani told the media, ‘Learning Hindi was the biggest challenge for him. Heard a lot of Hindi songs. But singing for a movie is completely different.’
The singer also said ‘Here I have to sing in the voice of an actress. The accent, the tone of voice, the tension – all had to be kept right. I have never done this before. So it was a big challenge for me.’
Ajay acted in the role of Chitragupta in the movie ‘Thank God’. Siddharth Malhotra will be seen as a common man, whose character will be analyzed by Chitragupta. Directed by Indra Kumar, the movie will hit the theaters on October 25.
Meanwhile, the movie is in legal trouble. It has been accused of hurting religious sentiments. A lawyer named Himanshu Srivastava has filed this complaint in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaonpur court.
