From among the districts adjacent to Kolkata, 76,101 candidates from North 24 Parganas, 65,707 from South 24 Parganas, 38,633 from Howrah, 34,094 from Kolkata district, 65,579 from Murshidabad district and 47,925 from Nadia will appear for the Higher Secondary Examination.
14,249 candidates from Alipurduar district, 27,050 from Cooch Behar, 13,117 from South Dinajpur, 4,863 from Darjeeling hill areas, 10,208 from Darjeeling Siliguri, 19,856 from Jalpaiguri, 3,413 from Kalimpong district, 42,567 from Malda district, 22,968 from North Dinajpur are appearing for the Higher Secondary Examination.
11,679 candidates from Jhargram district, 40,969 from West Medinipur, 36,686 from Purulia district and 43,919 from East Medinipur district will appear for the Higher Secondary Examination. 35,674 from Bankura district, 29,595 from Birbhum district, 43,781 from Hooghly district, 24,097 from West Bardhaman district and 37,080 from East Bardhaman district are appearing for the Higher Secondary Examination this time.
